Orte: Polnisches Institut und andere Orte in Leipzig

Jahr für Jahr versammelt DOK Leipzig im Herbst Filmemacher, Kritiker, Produzenten und vor allem scharenweise Zuschauer aus der ganzen Welt an der Pleiße, um aktuelle Produktionen zu sichten, spannende Wettbewerbe zu verfolgen, in Workshops von Meistern ihres Fachs zu lernen oder in Retrospektiven vergessene Perlen wiederzuentdecken. Ebenso regelmäßig sind polnische Filme Stammgäste auf den Leipziger Leinwänden – sowohl Animationsfilme als auch kurze und lange Dokumentationen konnten in den letzten Jahren Preise ergattern und werden auch diesmal wieder die Wettbewerbe prägen. Im Polnischen Institut flimmern nicht nur polnische Beiträge aus den Wettbewerben über die Leinwand.
